AlignHealth is private by design. Your health data is read on your device and never leaves it. We do not collect, store, or share your personal health information.
Who we are
AlignHealth is a personal health application developed and operated in the United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at info@alignhealth.app.
What data we access
AlignHealth requests access to the following Apple HealthKit data types on your iPhone:
- Heart rate and resting heart rate
- Heart rate variability (HRV)
- Step count and walking/running distance
- Active and basal energy burned
- Exercise time and stand time
- Sleep analysis (optional)
- Respiratory rate and oxygen saturation
- Workout sessions
Where your data goes
Nowhere. All health data read by AlignHealth is processed entirely on your iPhone. It is not transmitted to our servers, not stored in the cloud, not shared with third parties, and not used for advertising.
AlignHealth has no backend servers that receive health data. The application operates entirely offline for all health-related functions.
Weather data
AlignHealth optionally uses your device location to fetch local weather conditions. This is used solely to provide environmental context for your health insights. Location data is used momentarily to request weather and is not stored or transmitted beyond this purpose.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data
- We do not share your data with advertisers
- We do not require an account or email address
- We do not track you across other apps or websites
- We do not store your health data on external servers
Subscription and payments
AlignHealth offers an optional paid subscription managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not process payments directly and do not have access to your payment information. All billing is handled by Apple under their terms and privacy policy.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are located in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold. Given that we do not collect or store personal health data on our servers, there is no health data for us to provide, correct, or delete.
If you wish to remove AlignHealth's access to your HealthKit data, you can do so at any time through the Apple Health app on your iPhone under Privacy settings.
Children
AlignHealth is not directed at children under 13 years of age and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of AlignHealth after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
